Compressed photos
Below are some examples of compressed photos. The same photo has been saved with various compression factors to show the differences in quality obtained. For details on how to compress photos, read

1. The photo below has a width of 400 pixels and a height of 300 pixels. The
quality factor is 95% which means that the compression is rather small and the quality is very high. The file has a size of 65 kilobytes.

2. The photo below is the same photo, still with a width of 400 pixels and a height of 300 pixels. Now the
quality factor is 75% which means that the compression can be condidered as a medium compression and the quality as medium. The file has a size of
24 kilobytes.

3. The photo below is the same photo, still with a width of 400 pixels and a height of 300 pixels. Now the
quality factor is 30% which means that the compression can be condidered as a high compression and the quality as low. The file has a size of
12 kilobytes.

4. The photo below is the same photo, still with a width of 400 pixels and a height of 300 pixels. Now the
quality factor is 10% which means that the compression can be condidered as a very high compression and the quality as very poor. The file has a size of
6 kilobytes. Observe the strong mosaic effects on this image.
